Often times i wonder if our friends new what they were doing when they introduced us at "KB's Bar and Lounge", on May 5, 2009. I bet you all would have put some bets in if you knew things would turn out with such bliss.

Since the moment we were introduced, he couldn't keep his eyes off of me, so of course I walked my walk and talked my talk all around the bar for the rest of the night. watching through every mirror just to be sure that as I moved he shook.

As if indulging in great converstaion, over finger foods and drinks wasn't enough, kharaoke was on the list as well. Anybody that knows me, knows it was like hitting a homerun out the park when i grabbed the mic.

Re-gaining his attention through my soulful vocals put the icing on the cake. His smile was AMAZING, and appeared more and more charming as the night grew old.

We didn't exchange numbers, but with Facebook who needs a phone these days. That night I went home and checked for him. And oh to my surprise I found him. Maurice Davis-Lance. He who had been declared single and ready to mingle LOL.

Getting to know him, I learned that he was a young, cougar searching, educated and motivated individual. He was fun and outgoing, with alot of futuristic plans. He appeared to be a family man, raised by a good woman and without a shadow of a doubt treated her right. Therefor I knew that he was GOOD TO GO.

Eventually we began dating. I was nervous as all heck, but he excepted the package. He became so devoted and dedicated to Serenity and I as if that was his mission in life. Who would of known that it really was one of them.

A few bumps and bruises in the road, led us to a road of strength, courage, and wisdom. Together we stand and united we fall. Sounds cheesy but thats us in a nut shell.

Stay humble and live life freely. Give thanks where it is due. And, always remeber that what is here today can be gone tomorrow! cherish each moment in time, each breath taken and everyday you are awakened.
