We met the good old fashioned way- at a bar!  Kind of a joke but true, we met through mutual friends (including my Mom) a few times and got to talking, sometimes in between sets while he was playing drums.  We had chemistry but it took a long time before he asked me on a date.  Our first date was for Indian food in November of 2011 and we continue to eat lots of spicy meals together so looking forward to jerked everything in Jamaica.  He asked me to marry him at my house before his birthday dinner.  We had been dating less than a year but both knew we loved each other and wanted to be together.  Jeremiah's nine year old son Tucker is a big part of our lives and we both love him too.  They will be moving into my house in West Haven after the wedding. 

Our wedding ceremony will take place on the beach of Sunset at the Palms Resort at 5 o'clock in the evening on July 7, 2012. Feel free to wear flip flops or comfortable shoes for walking in sand. Following champagne toast and a few photos on the beach, we will have dinner reservations at the Lotus Leaf restaurant at Sunset at the Palms.

Please join us for a catamaran boat cruise from 3:30-6:30 on July 6th.  There will be swimming/snorkeling (optional) and drinks provided.   

There will also be a brunch the morning after the wedding, time TBA.

We will be arriving in Jamaica on the morning of July 5th and departing on July 16th. We will be staying at Sunset at the Palms in Negril for the first 5 nights, then Blue Harbor Villas on the North coast of Jamaica, then back to Negril to stay at Tensing Pen Hotel the last 3 nights of our honeymoon.

Please let us know when you will be arriving & where you are staying (if not at Sunset at the Palms). We are looking forward to spending time with our close friends and family that are able to join us!

P.S. It is better to take one of the big buses from airport to Negril that stops at all the hotels over a taxi service. Any other travel info/excursions you are interested in, you can find out from my mom (who has been many times) or hotel staff.

We know many of our family members and friends could not make it to the wedding but will be there in spirit. Thank you for being there for us and sharing your happy thoughts and blessings. We hope to get together and celebrate with you all throughout the summer or next winter for those far away and hopefully we'll have lots of photos to share!
