My husband is the sweetest, but when it comes to words he don't use very many. He is low key and very subtle. So the proposal took place about 2 months after we started dating.  We were in our truck driving on our way somewhere and he said to me, "I have something that I want to talk to with you about." I'm like what is it?" He says "We can talk about it later" I'm thinking oh goodness, something is wrong. So i say again "what is it, what do you want to talk about?" He says..."what do you think about us getting married?" My daughters were in the back seat giggling.  He took me by surprise because I wasn't expecting that. It was not very romantic, but I wouldn't change a thing about how he asked.
