Freddie pursued me, and we became fast friends, communicating on a regular basis via telephone and social media.  Our conversations became apart of our daily routine. The more we talked, the more we liked to talk and the more we had in common. On day, Freddie traveled to take me out to lunch. We didn't communicate for sometime after that date. We quickly realized we missed each other, and began communicating again. Freddie traveled again, returning to help me celebrate my  birthday. That night, he suggested that I have a discussion with my daughter and inform everyone (other men) that I was "taken." "But we haven't discussed that," I said. "We just did," replied Freddie, "we're together. I just told u." We've been together ever since. 

Freddie and I are both from the beach. We wanted to incorporate that element into finalizing our union in a nontraditional way, full of memories and adventure and excitement. Hawaii was my first choice but Freddie lived there for 10 years. So, we chose to travel abroad to a place neither one of us has ever been; hence, Negril, Jamaica. We're excited for the day. We're looking forward to the adventure and experience and we're more than enthusiastic about our future together as Mr. And Mrs. Green!

The celebration of our union will occur after we return from our Caribbean excursion. The date, time and location will be announced soon and invitations are on the way as you  are reading this. 

Freddie and I would like to thank all of our friends and family who share in our happiness and wish us well as we begin this new chapter of our lives. We greatly appreciate all of your love and support and ask that you continue to pray for our family and the strengthening of our union.
